What is an AI agent?
An AI agent is software that can carry out a task from start to finish - read an email, look something up, draft a reply, update a spreadsheet - rather than just answering a question. You decide which tasks it handles and what needs your approval.
What is Claude Code?
Claude Code is Anthropic's AI agent that can work with files, tools and the web. I use it - alongside no-code tools like Make and n8n where they're a better fit - to build agents that run routine business tasks.
Is it safe to let AI handle parts of my business?
Agents start in draft mode: they prepare the work and you approve it. They only get access to the accounts they need, and you can see and switch off anything they do.
What tools can you connect?
Most common small-business tools - email, calendars, spreadsheets, CRMs, accounting software and messaging apps. If a tool has an API or an export, it can usually be connected.
How long does it take to set up?
